Surgery Outpatient Clinic, Lohja Hospital

At the Surgery Outpatient Clinic at Lohja Hospital, we treat biliary symptoms, other diseases of the digestive system and hernias as well as perform small procedures under local anesthesia.

We treat general surgical and gastrointestinal surgical patients at our outpatient clinic. The most common causes for referrals include biliary symptoms, other diseases of the digestive system, hernias, surgical diseases of the thyroid gland, as well as tumors of the skin and subcutaneous tissue. At the outpatient clinic, we also perform minor surgical procedures, such as the banding of hemorrhoids and removal of skin tumors under local anesthesia.

If you need a surgical procedure after an examination at the outpatient clinic, we will put you on the waiting list for surgery in accordance with the urgency assessment provided. Your examinations and treatment may continue at the general surgical outpatient clinic or we can instruct the referring unit to continue your treatment.
