The number of research permits increased from the previous year. In our teaching, we continued with our three roadmap projects in teaching related to the one-stop shop for applications, the respectful treatment of students and specializing physicians, and the learning environment and respectful and equal treatment ## [ Improvement of research services ](/en/about-us/annual-reports/hus-year-2024/research-teaching-and-development/hus-year-2024-improvement) We clarified the process for research and data access permits. The research permit application was completed and the collaboration network in the Southern Finland collaborative area was launched. The project for respectful treatment of students and specializing professionals in the fields of medicine and for organizing good-quality onboarding has ended.
