# HUS Helsinki Diabetes Center At the Diabetes Center we treat diabetes patients who require advanced specialized medical care. At the Diabetes Center, we treat diabetes patients who are on insulin pump therapy, who have severe renal failure or who have had a transplant, and implement initial care and instruction for patients diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. We provide consultation for the diagnostics and treatment of diabetes of unclear type.
