##  Decision-making 

 
 In the HUS Group, the highest decision-making body is the General Meeting, which elects the Executive of the Joint Authority for Helsinki and Uusimaa. The Executive of the Joint Authority for Helsinki and Uusimaa focuses especially on the attainment of the strategic goals and on balancing the finances. The operational activities of HUS Group are managed by the CEO. The CEO presides over the profit areas and Shared Group Services, whose duties include the day-to-day management and financial administration in accordance with the HUS Group strategy.
