Our unit is also the largest urological unit in the Nordic countries, and we conduct the most demanding urological surgeries in the HUS area and Southern Finland. In addition, we perform emergency surgery in the specialties of orthopedics and traumatology. We have two operating robots and some of the urological surgeries we perform are robot-assisted. We have 17 operating rooms. Some of our patients are discharged on the day of the surgery and some stay overnight at a ward as planned.
