The multidisciplinary team at the Wound Center includes a plastic surgeon, vascular surgeon, dermatologist, and two wound care specialist nurses.  The Wound Center’s activities are focused on wound prevention and effective management, harmonizing of procedures and record-keeping, networking and promoting evidence-based wound care. The core activities of the Wound Center include: - Weekly wound clinics at Park Hospital - On site and/or remote wound rounds at the Skin and Allergy Hospital, Espoo Hospital, and Helsinki City Hospitals - Training healthcare professionals, responding to wound consultations, teaching visits from wound nurses in various treatment units - Developing wound care and generating collaborative networks nationally and internationally - Project activities, content creation and content updating of the Terveyskylä.fi online service’s Wound Hub and TerveyskyläPRO professional’s Wounds virtual center in collaboration with the wellbeing services counties.
