We mainly treat patients in internal medicine at our ward, but also patients with heart problems or substance abuse problems, or those in need of surgery. Also the Cardiac Unit of Malmi Hospital operates in connection with our ward, and the unit performs cardioversions for patients referred to us for treatment. The Cardiac Unit operates by appointment. Cardiology nurse answers calls from patients coming in for cardioversion, tel. 050 330 5587. The line is open: - Mon, Wed, Fri 8–11 a.m. - Tue and Thu 12–2:30 p.m. Due to the nature of the ward, we hope that visits will be kept short.
