For these, the appointment is booked directly from the X-ray unit. ### When you have a referral from specialized health care, from a HUS hospital --- - You will be given an appointment for the examination and you will be informed of the appointment by letter. - The examination can be, for example, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT or MRI. ## [ You are free to choose your X-ray location ](/en/patient/treatments-and-examinations/laboratories-and-imaging/walk-x-ray-units) Once you receive a referral to HUS for skeletal, chest, or dental X-ray examinations, you are free to choose the imaging unit where you go for the examinations. Most X-ray units do not require booking an appointment.
