# Outpatient Support Unit, Raseborg Mental Health Center Keywords: - [psychiatry](< /en/search?q=psychiatry >) Our outpatient ward is a bilingual, voluntary acute/general psychiatric ward with eight beds. Our ward is an appointment and treatment ward for acute adult patients requiring immediate hospitalization. Treatment is offered based on a physician’s referral. Our ward is suitable for the treatment of severe mental health disorders when outpatient support and measures are not sufficient for you. Referral to treatment may be based on, for example, severe depressive disorder, acute suicidal crisis, uncontrollable anxiety, psychosis brought on by substance abuse, or severe personality disorder crisis. Your inpatient care requires sufficient cooperation and commitment from you. Involuntary measures or treatment periods cannot be carried out on the ward. Your examination and treatment will be symptomatic and individual and it will be based on a treatment plan drawn up together with you and your outpatient care services. A multidisciplinary team is in charge of your treatment. A primary nurse will also be appointed for you for the duration of the treatment period. Your treatment includes, for example, medication, treatment discussions, group work, family and network meetings and, if necessary, services of special workers and neuromodulation treatments.
