# Child Psychiatric Evaluation, Acute and Consultation Unit, Northern Keywords: - [child psychiatry](< /en/search?q=child psychiatry >) At the Child Psychiatric Evaluation, Acute and Consultation Unit, we treat children aged 5–12 years with severe anxiety, depression, a disorder of executive function, or a neuropsychiatric disorder. The families come from Vantaa and Kerava. We work in cooperation with the families. We meet with the child and the parents both together and separately. With parental consent, and when needed, we can also cooperate with the school, social services, and those who have previously treated the child.
